DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Full time: 40 hours/week

Your Responsibility

  • Build, develop, and operate highly available and secure cloud and on-premise infrastructures
  • Automate deployments, infrastructure management, and monitoring
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines for blockchain and crypto backends as well as APIs
  • Monitor and secure blockchain nodes, wallet services, and blockchain network infrastructure
  • Incident management, troubleshooting, and system optimization in production environments
  • Collaborate closely with security teams to ensure the highest IT security standards
  • Document systems, processes, and operational workflows

Your profile

  • Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a comparable role
  • Strong expertise in Linux server administration (Ubuntu, Debian)
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Confident in working with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI)
  • Experience in the blockchain/cryptocurrency sector is a plus (e.g., Bitcoin Core, Lightning Node)
  • Deep understanding of network security, encryption, and access control systems
  • Proactive, structured, and independent working style
  • Fluent in German or English
  • Ideally, you are passionate about Bitcoin, understand its fundamental values, and are motivated to actively support our mission of "Bringing Bitcoin to the People."

We offer market-compliant payment depending on qualifications and previous experience. The minimum salary is 50,000€ gross per year (on a 40-hour basis). The actual salary depends on qualifications and experience.

Money Laundering Prevention Employee (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for new members to join our money laundering prevention team. (m/f/d)

Coinfinity is a Bitcoin broker founded in 2014 and supervised by the FMA. Under the motto “Bringing Bitcoin to the people,” we develop products and services for the money of tomorrow.

We believe that Bitcoin will significantly change our economy and society in the coming years. Our mission is to make Bitcoin as understandable and accessible as possible. For us, it's about values, not prices.

Your area of responsibility

  • Supporting the Money Laundering Prevention Officer in the implementation and execution of relevant measures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Source of funds checks (fiat, bitcoin)
  • Transaction monitoring (analysis of customer transactions, information and documents) and carrying out plausibility checks
  • Preparation of money laundering and sanction reports
  • Support in the further development of the internal control system (ICS)
  • ICS audits on defined special topics

Your profile

  • Completed education with Matura (e.g. HAK, AHS)
  • Relevant studies (law, business administration or similar) are an advantage
  • Ideally, existing professional experience in the area of money laundering prevention
  • Interest in legal developments in Austria (e.g. FM-GwG, WiEReG, corporate law)
  • Experience with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is desired
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Good language skills in German and English
