‍Your areas of responsibility

• Implement and roll out backend functions
• Primarily in the context of a rest backend based on spring boot, secondarily via micro services
• Designing database structures and queries

‍What do you bring

• Experience with Spring (Boot) & Java 17+
• Experience with SQL databases (Postgres)/Hibernate
• Experience with Kafka & Redis
• Experience with REST services
• Experience with Gradle, Gitlab CI/CD, Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience with micro-service architectures
• Experience with security (application security, server security)
• Ideally Linux/Unix knowledge
• Ideally, basic knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain in general
• Ideally a basic understanding of cryptographic primitives (hash functions, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, etc.)

We are looking to strengthen our money laundering prevention team with immediate effect.

Your area of responsibility

• Supporting the Money Laundering Prevention Officer in the implementation and execution of relevant measures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing
• Source of funds checks (fiat, bitcoin)
• Transaction monitoring (analysis of customer transactions, information and documents) and carrying out plausibility checks
• Preparation of money laundering and sanction reports
• Support in the further development of the internal control system (ICS)
• ICS audits on defined special topics

Your profile

• Completed education with Matura (e.g. HAK, AHS)
• Relevant studies (law, business administration or similar) are an advantage
• Ideally, existing professional experience in the area of money laundering prevention
• Interest in legal developments in Austria (e.g. FM-GwG, WiEReG, corporate law)
• Experience with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is desired
• Confident handling of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Discretion in dealing with confidential information
• Good language skills in German and English

For this position, a minimum basic salary of EUR 3,034.62 gross per month applies according to the collective agreement. Depending on qualifications and experience, an overpayment is possible.
